Hidden Green Chocolate Smoothie Bowl

Hidden Greens Chocolate Smoothie Bowl (Serves 1)

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 small frozen bananas
  • 1 handful spinach
  • 1 scoop of Swisse Me Chocolate Hazelnut Vegan Protein Powder
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tbsp peanut or almond butter
  • 1 tbsp instant coffee (optional)
  • Enough milk to blend – hazelnut, oat or almond
  • A large pinch of sea salt
  • Toppings of your choice: we used fruit, granola and nut butter!

 

Method:

  • Blend your frozen banana and spinach in a strong blender or food processor. When this starts to break down into very small chunks, add your cocoa powder, peanut butter, instant coffee, salt and a splash of milk to help this blend.
  • Keep blending, adding little bits of milk slowly until your smoothie starts to become nice and smooth and you reach the consistency you want. Once finished, this should be lump-free and a thick, scoop-able texture.
  • Once blended, simply spoon into a bowl and add your favourite toppings!
