Cocoa, hazelnut & chocolate energy balls
Makes approx. 16
- 3/4 cup hazelnuts
- 1 cup oats
- 6 large Medjool dates
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 sachet Start Me Cocoa Ready-to-Drink Smoothie
- 2 tbsp granulated sweetener – coconut sugar or stevia
- 1 tsp orange extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
Blitz the hazelnuts, oats and pitted medjool dates in a food processor for about 10 seconds, or until the ingredients blend down to small chunks.
Next, add in the cocoa, Start Me Cocoa sachet, orange extract, coconut sugar and salt and blend again until well combined.
Roll your mixture into bite-sized balls, wetting your hands a little if it gets too sticky. Store in the fridge.
